Return Policy
You have up to 30 days from the shipment date to return merchandise for internet sales. ( Holiday returns are 30 days from Christmas Day, starting with purchases after October 31). Clearance items purchased are final sale, no returns or exchanges. All items must be unused and resellable. You may receive a refund, replacement or online store credit. Items purchased from our retail stores must be returned to that retail store location within 10 days. If you have any questions or concerns, Send Email to our Customer Service Department.
Clothing: Clothing must be unused, unwashed and resellable with all tags attached. Shoes must not be worn and must include original undamaged packaging. We recommend that you walk around on carpet to see if shoes fit. If they don’t fit, the bottoms won’t be dirty and you can send them back. Sunglasses must have no scratches and be in like-new condition. Videos, DVD’s and CD’s must be unopened and in original packaging.
What happens if I received damaged or incorrect merchandise? If we shipped you an item that was wrong or damaged, we will gladly issue a call tag or refund your prepaid return shipping charge. Otherwise, all returns must be returned pre-paid. We suggest you return your merchandise via UPS, Federal Express or insured Parcel Post.
*Sorry, but all orders shipped with a freight discount and returned for refund will be charged the original shipping charges. We have to charge UPS ground rates, to reship exchanged items, when the reason for exchange is not our fault. Payment must be made for shipping before we can ship exchanges.
To return products to Shark's Surf Shop:
- RETURNS (Click here to email us ) anytime or call (785) 841-8289, Monday through Friday, 10am-5pm Central Time. Give your Invoice or Packing Slip Number, the product you would like to send back and the reason why. We will then issue you a RMA #. A RMA can also be requested by logging into your account and going to previous orders and selecting RMA for the order.
Sorry, no shipments will be accepted without a RMA #.
- Pack the product and include the packing slip or invoice and return form. Write the RMA # on the outside of the box. Boxes without an RMA number will not be accepted. For your protection, we suggest you return your merchandise via UPS. Insurance is also available and is relatively inexpensive.

Viewing Your Order Status To view the status of your order follow these simple steps:
Click on the link near the top of our website called, 'My Account'
Enter your main account email address and your last name then click 'Login'.
Under 'Orders' click on the link titled, 'Review previous orders'. On this screen you can find out more information about a specific order.
When Will My Credit Card Be Charged? Upon placing an order on our site, our system will immediately 'authorize' your credit card for the purchase amount. This authorization is how our shopping system 'knows' to approve your purchase and provide you with an invoice. This authorization is not an actual charge. Once we verify product availability, we will prepare your order for shipping and charge your credit card at that time. If we cannot fulfill your order, your authorization amount will be released from our system within 48 hours.

Our shipping methods and costs vary according to an item total weight. All orders are shipped within 72 hours from order date excluding weekends and holidays.. If item(s) are "not in stock" we will notify you by phone or via email. Delivery can be expected in 1-5 business days from the shipping date. All orders are shipped from our Lawrence, KS store during regular business hours, 9:00AM to 4:00PM CST, Monday through Friday.
